The Chartered Institute of Operations and Supply Chain Professionals, CIOSCP, is a rebranding and upgrade of the Institute of Supply Chain Management Professionals.

The Governing Council of the Institute of Supply Chain Management Professionals passed a resolution to upgrade and widen the scope of the Institute of Supply Chain Management Professionals to the Chartered Institute of Operations and Supply Chain Professionals.

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF NIGERIA 

The Institute of Supply Chain Management Professionals which is now the Chartered Institute of Operations and Supply Chain Professionals is duly approved by the Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria. The approval is done by the Evaluation and Accreditation Division of the Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria.

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF JUSTICE OF NIGERIA AND THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION

The Institute of Supply Chain Management Professionals which is now the Chartered Institute of Operations and Supply Chain Professionals is duly approved by the Federal Ministry of Justice of Nigeria as a professional body that regulates supply chain management professionals.

The Institute of Supply Chain Management Professionals is duly incorporated in Nigeria in full compliance with the Companies and Allied Matters Act, CAMA, of 1990. It is registered with the Corporate Affair Commission with RC1565500.

The Chartered Institute of Operations and Supply Chain Professionals is duly established under the Chartered-ship House Bill No. 1041, 2020. It is established as a chartered professional body that regulates and control operations management and supply chain management profession.
